Birthday & Highland Games

Mom cooked a great birthday dinner for me and we had a couple of people over.

A couple of us went to the Highland Games at Grandfather Mountain in western NC. Here are a few pictures.

July 4th!!!

On July 4th we had a few of the friends from around the area come to our place for a potluck and fun. We were glad that the rain held off until we had finished eating!!

Blueberry picking time..

Nikki and I picked about 3 gallons of blueberries last week. Nikki did most of the picking and Lindsey made blueberry turnovers several times. We had some of the turnovers for our 4th of July cookout. The bushes on the property should keep producing through July.
